Who we are.
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a biblically-based, recovery program that addresses our Hurts, Hang-ups, and Habits using a 12-step approach based on the Beatitudes from the book of Matthew. CR leaders, understand your struggles, as they have experienced freedom from addictive and dysfunctional patterns in their own lives. They have been trained to guide people through the 12 Steps/8 Principles, and to provide a safe environment for accountability and building authentic relationships.

What to expect at a Celebrate Recovery Meeting.
When you arrive at Celebrate Recovery on a Friday night, the first people you will see are the Greeters. They are there to welcome you, give you directions and answer any questions you may have. We have Celebration Place for children, so if you bring your children you will be directed to sign them in for the evening. The large group worship and teaching time is designed to enable you to set aside the busyness and the stresses of the outside world by participating in prayer, praise and worship. It also includes a time of teaching a lesson from the CR curriculum or a testimony. This time begins to unfold the “Safe” environment that is essential to any recovery program. It allows all those present to get in touch with the one and only Higher Power, Jesus Christ.
Immediately after the large group meeting concludes, we go into Open Share Groups. There are separate groups for men and women. As you settle into the group the leader will read five guidelines to follow to keep the group safe. Then the leader will read the focus question for that meeting. Participants have the choice to share on the focus question or share whatever is on his or her heart, or they can pass if they are not ready to share.
After the sharing time the leader will close in prayer. During this time we also offer a Newcomers Group for those attending CR for the first time.
